How to buy curtains for unusual shaped windows

You don't need to buy expensive, custom-made curtains when you have those architecturally designed windows. You need to look past the shape of the window and see the window in the entirety of the room. More than likely, the wall with the window is a rectangular shape. Your window might be a triangle, a circle or very wide narrow window, but the best way to dress it up is to look past the shape and find the curtains online which will fit with the room.

Your curtains or blinds don't need to be the same shape and size as your window. In fact, they look terrific if they run way past the edge of the window or run down lower than the sill. You can create a wonderful designer look by buying ready made, off the shelf, extra long curtains and run them from the ceiling height all the way down to the floor.

Extra wide and extra long curtains look chic, timeless and very up to the minute in current interior design trends. In addition, the more fabric you use in your curtains the better insulation and noise absorption you will get, which is just an added bonus with this current design trend.

Even better, you can pick up extra wide and extra long curtains from many of the specialty ready made curtain suppliers, or order them online and get them delivered right to your door.

The need for custom-made, expensive curtains for unusual windows is a thing of the past. Put your thinking cap on and envision the entire wall, not just the window, and see what you can find in the way of ready made curtains.
