Loom to Room

Loom to Room

A Better Curtain Starts Long Before the First Stitch.

We Put More Into the Curtain. Not Onto the Price.

We make the fabric and the finished curtains in our own factory—from weaving and coating to stitching and packing. Keeping it all under one roof means beautifully made curtains, faster production and more curtain for your money, with custom orders made in 7–10 days.

Better Curtains, Without the Showroom Markup.

Better Curtains, Without the Showroom Markup.

Quickfit Blinds & Curtains is an Australian-owned curtain and blinds business based in Mornington, Victoria.

We make it easier to buy high-quality curtains online by combining textile experience, direct manufacturing and a curated product range designed for real Australian homes.

Instead of building our business around showrooms, sales commissions and long lead times, we focus on what matters once the curtains are installed: fabric weight, proper construction, correct fullness, clean drape and better value.

Custom curtains are made in 5–7 days. Ready-made curtains ship next business day.

Textiles are not a trend for us. They are the family trade.

We Started Quickfit to Make Curtains Simpler

Curtains should not be hard to buy.

For years, the traditional curtain industry made customers visit showrooms, wait for quotes, choose from confusing ranges, pay layers of markup and wait weeks for production.

Quickfit was created to remove that friction.

We help customers choose based on what the room actually needs: soft light, privacy, darkness, insulation, speed, or a more finished designer look.

That is why our range includes custom made curtains, ready-made curtains, sheer curtains, blockout curtains, S-Fold curtains, pinch pleat curtains, eyelet curtains, blinds, tracks and hardware.

The goal is simple: curtains that hang properly, arrive quickly and make the room feel finished.

"Textiles are not a trend for us. They are the family trade."

Quickfit is led by founder Nicole Ritchie, who has spent more than 25 years in textiles.

But the story goes back much further than that.

Nicole’s father was the Managing Director of one of Australia’s first textile import businesses, helping bring international fabric ranges into the Australian market. Her grandfather also worked in home textiles, heading up sales for the company now known as Pacific Brands.

Today, Nicole leads product and fabric direction at Quickfit, while her sister Eve heads up customer care.

Quickfit was not built by people guessing at curtain trends from a catalogue. It was built from generations of practical textile knowledge: fabric weight, weave, colour, drape, durability and how products perform in real homes.

We Started by Making Curtains. Now We Make the Fabric Too.

We Started by Making Curtains. Now We Make the Fabric Too.

When Quickfit began, we made curtains the usual way. We bought the fabric, then cut and stitched it into a finished curtain. But the more curtains we made, the more we could see that the finished result was decided before the fabric ever reached the cutting table. The weight affected the drape. The weave changed the softness and privacy. The coating determined how well a blockout curtain worked. There was only so much we could improve without making the fabric ourselves. So we set up our own factory and began investing in the machinery needed to make both the fabric and the finished curtains. We are still growing what we can do. Our latest addition is specialist bonding machinery that applies a non-permeable membrane to fabric to create blockout curtains. It also allows us to develop coordinating collections with a semi-sheer and blockout version of the same fabric. The texture and colour work together across the room, while each curtain does a different job. Every new machine starts with the same question: what could we make better for our customers?

Why Choose Quickfit Blinds and Curtains

More choice is not always better. Better choice is better.

Touch the Fabric Before You Commit

Our range is curated with intention. Across thousands of orders, the pattern is clear: most customers choose from a smaller group of proven fabrics, colours and curtain types. That is how people actually buy. Most people are not the exception. They want curtains that look good, hang properly, suit their home and feel safe to choose online. So we focus on the fabrics that work, the colours that suit Australian interiors and the curtain systems that remove the most guesswork. When you choose from Quickfit, you are not starting from zero. Thousands of customers have chosen before you. The safest way to choose is to see the fabric in your own home before ordering. Our Sample Studio lets you compare colour, texture, weight, drape, privacy and light control in the room where the curtains will actually hang.

The Quickfit Standard

What makes a Quickfit curtain different?

The difference shows once they are installed.

A good curtain needs more than a nice colour. It needs the right fabric, correct fullness, quality construction.

on and finishing details that help it hang properly and perform over time.

That is what we focus on.

  • Fabric made with purpose -  Fabric selected for drape, texture and performance
  • Colours chosen with intention - Our range is curated around colours and textures that work in real Australian homes.
  • Correct fullness - Fullness creates depth, softness and a more finished look.
  • Tailored hems - Deeper hems add structure and help curtains fall more cleanly.
  • Weighted corners -  Corner weights help curtains sit straighter once installed.
  • Range decisions based on what works - Our collection is built around the fabrics, colours and curtain styles customers choose most often.

Quality is not one feature. It is the result of getting every detail right.

Quality is not one feature. It is the result of getting every detail right.

Most curtains look similar online. The difference becomes clear once they are hanging in the room.

A good curtain needs more than a nice colour. It needs the right fabric weight, correct fullness, proper construction and a heading system that works with the hardware.

That is what we focus on.
