How Your S-Fold Curtains Will Hang.

 

We also use a button tape system specially designed for S-Fold or Ripple Fold curtains, easuring a perfect wave and easy to install. The buttons on the tape simply clip into the runners on your track.

ALL our S-Fold Curtains come with a FREE TRACK and screws and plugs to secure them to the wall. There are losts of different materials you may be attaching your track to such as plaster, timber, brickwork etc. For this reason we suggest you speak with someone in a hardware store if you do not know which is the correct fixing method to use when attaching the track.

How To Measure Up For Your New Curtains.

At Quickfit Blinds and Curtains, all our s-fold curtains are tailored to fit the specific track they are hung from, ensuring a seamless and polished appearance. Our curtains are underslung on their tracks, meaning that after installation, part of the track will be visible above the curtain for a stylish finish.

Furthermore, our s- fold curtains are made with approximately a 1.8 X fullness. Simply provide the desired track width, and we'll ensure your curtains are perfectly proportioned!

Accurate measuring is important for a stress-free installation, so take the time to measure carefully. Before you begin, gather a metal tape measure, pencil, paper, and a sturdy step ladder if needed.

For the best curtain stacking and coverage, we recommend ordering a track slightly wider than your window to prevent the curtain stack from obstructing the glass when drawn open. Typically, s-fold curtains stack about 25% of the total width.

With this in mind, add at least 15cm (up to 30cm) to the track measurement on each side of the window.

If you are wanting to cover the entire wall then measure the entire wall width.

Measure the exact width of your required track in centimetres / CM. 

Next, determine where you want the top of the track to start and measure down to where you want the bottom of the curtain to finish. Usually from either the ceiling, just under the cornice or half way between the top of the window and the ceiling. 

 

Wall Mounted / Face Fixed

For wall mounted / face fix curtains, the track and brackets are mounted directly onto the wall. We will send you out the appropriate brackets for your order.

 

 

Ceiling Mounted / Top Fix.

A ceiling mounted curtain / top fixed curtain involves mounting the track and brackets to the ceiling. This is an excellent choice if you're working within a bulkhead and looks fabulous with S-Fold style curtains. Ceiling mounted curtains add a seamless look and elevate the rooms height. They create a striking, dramatic effect in most spaces.

When measuring for ceiling mount keep in mind that curtains may naturally drop over time and since there is no room to play with in the height, to account for this, we recommend making a slightly larger deduction of 1 to 2cm from the total drop measurement.

Full Height Curtains with a Cornice.

When you are wanting to wall mount your curtains up as high as you can, we suggest measuring from just under the cornice. This will give you a very similar look to hanging them from the ceiling.

 

 

Wall To Wall Curtains.

For wall-to-wall curtains, measure from the left side wall across to the right side wall. Upon receiving your order, we'll make a 20mm deduction from this measurement to ensure the track fits comfortably within the two facing walls.

 

Time To Place Your Order. 

Once you've recorded your measurements,

1. add your width and height measurements in CM Centimetres,

2. select if you want one big curtain that opens to one side (Side Openning) or Two Curtains that open in the middle (Centre Openning).

3. Select if you are Wall mounting or ceiling Mounting your curtains.

There will be a spot as you run through checkout to let us know any other unformation you think we should know. We will make any neccessary adjustments.

How much will my shipping cost?

Ready Made Items:

  • Ready-Made Curtains: Flat rate of $9.95 per order, regardless of quantity. Excludes S-Fold Curtain Track Sets, Tracks & Rods.
  • S-Fold Curtain & Track Sets: Shipping is charged per set at $9.95.
  • Tracks & Rods: Shipping is charged per track or rod at $9.95. Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the items in your cart.

Custom Made Items (Curtains & Blinds):

  • Standard Shipping: $9.95 per window / per blind.

How long after payment will you dispatch my item?

Ready Made Curtains: Next Day

Ready Made Rods & Tracks: 3 days

Custom Made Curtains: 5–7 Days

Custom Made Blinds: 10–14 Days

How long after dispatch should I expect delivery?

We aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible – the following timeframes are a guide only. For custom orders, please check your order confirmation email or the information banner on our home page for the current estimated dispatch time, as this can change daily during peak periods.

Ready Made Items (In Stock Items)

We use Australia Post Parcel Post for all deliveries.

Our ready-made curtains are dispatched from Melbourne, while some curtain rods are shipped from our Brisbane warehouse.

Approximate delivery timeframes are:

  • Same state: 2–4 business days
  • Interstate: 3–6 business days
  • Regional & remote areas: May take longer depending on the location

Please note: These timeframes are provided as a guide only and may vary during peak periods or due to network delays.

Custom Made Items

Curtains: Sent via DHL. Metro areas typically 3–5 business days, regional areas up to 5–10 days.

Blinds: We use Direct Freight Express and Hunter Express for our blind deliveries.

  • Standard delivery timeframes by product:
    • Custom Made Venetians, Classic, and Micro Blinds – Shipped via Direct Freight Express. Metro areas typically 2–3 business days, regional areas up to 4–7 days.
    • Custom Made Quebec, Ontario, Toronto Blinds – Shipped via Hunter Express. Metro areas typically 2–3 business days, regional areas up to 4–7 days.

All blind deliveries sent via Direct Freight Express and Hunter Express are dispatched as Authority to Leave (ATL). This means if the courier determines there is a safe place to leave the goods, they will do so. A signature is not required upon delivery.

Do you use tracking numbers for your deliveries?

Yes. We provide tracking numbers for all deliveries:

  • Ready-Made Items: your tracking number will be emailed the day your order is dispatched
  • Custom Made Items: your tracking number will be emailed the day after dispatch

Please Note: Free fabric samples are sent via regular post and are not trackable. If you need your samples faster or with tracking, we recommend selecting the $5.95 Express Post option at checkout.

Do you deliver to P.O. Boxes?

Yes: Ready Made items can be delivered to a PO BOX.

No: Custom Curtains, Blinds and Tracks cannot be delivered to a PO BOX.

My item has not arrived, what do I do?

If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please follow the steps below:

  1. Check your tracking information: Use your tracking details to confirm the delivery status of your order.
  2. Check with your local post office or the courier handling your delivery: In many cases, parcels are awaiting collection at your local post office or courier depot.
  3. Contact us: If your item still hasn’t arrived, please reach out to us via the Contact Us page or email info@quickfitblindsandcurtains.com.au.

Be sure to include your order number so we can locate your order quickly and assist you as soon as possible.

Can I pick up from your warehouse?

Yes, you can collect Ready-Made items only from our warehouse on the Mornington Peninsula by prior arrangement.

When placing your order, please add a note at checkout advising that you would like to collect from our warehouse. Our team will then contact you to arrange a suitable pickup time.

Please note: If shipping has been charged at checkout, the postage will be refunded once the order has been collected.

Can I return my item if I change my mind?

Yes: Ready-Made Items

We offer a simple returns process for ready-made products. Items must be returned within 14 days in their original packaging and condition.

14 Day Money Back Returns

Terms & Conditions

At Quickfit Blinds and Curtains, we stand behind our product. That’s why we offer a 14-Day Money Back Guarantee for all Ready Made items. There is no return policy for change of mind on custom and made-to-measure items. If, for any reason, a customer is unsatisfied with their purchase, they can contact us within 14 days of taking delivery and organise to return the product and receive a refund of the purchase price excluding the associated delivery cost, subject to the terms and conditions below.

  • To organise a refund, the customer must notify Quickfit Blinds and Curtains Support via email at info@quickfitblindsandcurtains.com.au within 14 days of taking delivery and request a refund.
  • We do not offer exchanges – we offer a refund as it is a more seamless, easier and faster process. You can then purchase the item you require.
  • Where a customer requests a refund in accordance with these terms and conditions, the refund will be for the purchase price excluding the delivery cost and the $9.95 restocking fee.
  • The 14 day period commences on the date the customer accepts delivery of the product. Where there is no proof of delivery, this date will be assumed to be 3 business days from the date of dispatch.
  • The product must be returned within 14 days in the original packaging and in condition fit for resale.
  • Customers must return the products for which they are seeking a refund at their own cost.
  • Returned products must meet the following conditions:
    • Be returned in the original packaging. If you are wishing to return the item because the colour is not what you expected or you changed your mind, the item cannot be removed from the packaging.
    • Goods are to be returned at your cost.
    • A small $9.95 restocking fee will be charged and deducted from your refund.
    • Allow 24 hours for our warehouse to inspect the goods once they have been received into our warehouse. During Black Friday we may require up to 72 hours.

Note: Made-to-Measure items (including Custom-Made Curtains and Roller Blinds) cannot be returned for change of mind, incorrect measuring, or incorrect colour choice. We suggest ordering fabric swatches before placing your order.

After receiving the returned products, Quickfit Blinds and Curtains will issue a refund as soon as reasonably practicable, and the customer will be provided with email acknowledgement. Refunds will be processed in the same way you paid. Quickfit Blinds and Curtains accepts no responsibility for any delays that may occur in receiving the refund as a result of any third-party payment gateway.
