One of our favourite features offered for customers here at Quickfit, is the ability to create your own custom curtains online. Not only can you choose your fabric as well as a custom size, but you can also select the style and header of your curtain that will pull together your complete vision not just for your window coverings, but for your wider home's interior design scheme as well.

We offer four different styles of curtain headers here at Quickfit, these being eyelet, concealed tab, pinch pleat, and pencil pleat. All styles are available with our custom curtain orders. We'll also be having a closer look at these four different curtain header styles right down below, so read on to determine which header style will work best for you and your household.

Eyelet Curtains

Eyelet curtains are a very popular choice for today’s style. These are very simple to install as you simply place the curtain rod through the 40mm metal eyelet rings at the top of the curtain. This curtain header style is also perfect for anybody who's looking to maintain a uniform spread of fabric across their overall curtain panel. As eyelet curtains are widely spaced in comparison to pencil or pinch pleat curtains, they possess a less ruffled appearance which may be suited to contemporary modern or minimalist spaces looking to minimise sources of excess texture or visual noise.

Concealed Tab Curtains

Concealed Tab Curtains are the perfect choice if you’d like to hide your curtain rod. The tabs create a hidden slot to install the curtain rod behind the fabric for an elegant look to your room. Concealed tab curtains are best suited for traditionalist spaces that are looking to take on a softer feel. If your room has wooden decor, concealed tab curtains may be a valuable asset, as they can help balance the wood and fabric elements within that interior space.

Pinch Pleat Curtains

Pinch Pleat Curtains are a contemporary classic style of curtain header, offering lovely pleats to add an element of volume and pattern to your window coverings. Pinch pleat curtains require curtain rings to install the curtain to the curtain rod, so there are some considerations that need to be made regarding whether or not this header style will meld well with your interiors. As pinch pleat curtains are considered to be contemporary, they will naturally perform well in contemporary spaces that are equipped with modern design elements such as monochromatic furniture produced using natural materials like glass, marble, and dark or light timber rather than naturally coloured timber.

Pencil Pleat Curtains

Pencil Pleat Curtains are very similar to pinch pleat curtains. In fact, they only differ in one simple way: the pleats on pencil pleat curtains are much closer together, and are thin like a pencil. Similar to pinch pleat curtains, pencil pleat curtains require curtain rings for installation, so they are also best suited to contemporary spaces where these metal elements won't feel out of place.
